Here’s what 1,800 higher education security experts have to say

Did you know that 64% of security and information technology (IT) professionals from higher education institutions want to upgrade their access control systems, but see cost as a major Students in the libraryobstacle? 

We surveyed over 1,800 higher education security professionals to explore their views on campus safety and the role that access control and video surveillance play.

Access control is a key part of security in higher education, impacting every department and stakeholder throughout an institution. However, costs are an obstacle, and many aging access control systems urgently need to be upgraded. Managing systems can also be a challenge, but there are new technology options that can make life easier for administrators and system users.
