Traditionally, the options for a FICAM-approved access control system to replace a
non-compliant system or to secure a new site were limited. Of these options, most were
proprietary in nature, therefore restricting your freedom to take advantage of what the
market can offer. However, having an open architecture platform such as Security Center
gives you the flexibility to choose from non-proprietary FIPS 201-compliant architectures
to validate PIV and PIV-I credentials. We currently offer 2 options:
1. Onboard authentication using Mercury LP4502 controller
2. Authentication using HID Global pivCLASS® Authentication Module (PAM)
