Onboard authentication using Mercury LP4502 controller Ideal for new installations, this option is an efficient and cost-effective approach to achieving FIPS 201 compliancy. By embedding pivCLASS® authentication firmware into the Mercury LP4502 controller, you reduce your hardware expenditure and benefit from a speedy authentication process. Secure bi-directional protocol Mercury LP4502 controller IP Network Security Center Synergis Mercury MR Series 3 Interface modules OSDP® V2 Manages total of Contact, contactless, PIN and biometric options 16 FICAM readers Federal Bridge Certi‡cate Manager Registration workstation HID pivCLASS readers With embedded authentication, one LP4502 controller manages a total of 16 FICAM readers, or 8 read-in and read-out doors. Synergis supports the registration of cardholders through the pivCLASS® registration workstation to easily manage and validate the credentials of Federal employees and contractors. Bring flexibility to your security Traditionally, the options for a FICAM-approved access control system to replace a non-compliant system or to secure a new site were limited. Of these options, most were proprietary in nature, therefore restricting your freedom to take advantage of what the market can offer. With the Security Center open architecture platform however, you benefit from the flexibility to choose from non-proprietary FIPS 201-compliant architectures to validate PIV and PIV-I credentials. We currently offer 2 options: 1. Onboard authentication using Mercury LP4502 controller 2. Authentication using HID Global pivCLASS® Authentication Module (PAM)
