This allows them to leverage existing security investments or purchase the latest technology. Secure archiving with Genetec Clearance With Genetec Clearance, agencies can define how long interview sessions are kept, and extend retention periods should policies change, without investing in additional storage hardware. All recordings are saved and replicated in the cloud. This provides greater redundancy and ensures that key evidence is kept safe, while avoiding the risk of video loss due to on- premise hardware failures. A turnkey system With the ability to start video and audio recordings with simple input devices, officers can conduct interviews without additional assistance. To easily find information from past recordings, all interviews are tagged with the time, date, and credential information of the recording, along with corresponding notes. Video privacy and encryption Once an interview is recorded, data is encrypted using AES-256 with a user-created encryption key, and transferred through a secure TLS connection. Using Security Center, users can configure privilege levels to ensure recordings can only be viewed and exported by investigators with sufficient access rights. This mitigates the risk of evidence being sent to non- authorized parties.
