Mean-time- to-recovery To keep your cameras up and running, the Camera Integrity Monitor is an active service that periodically checks the health of your cameras, notifying you when a problem occurs. The Firmware Vault is connected through GUS. It downloads the updates and pushes it to the cameras. System Availability Monitor (SAM) SAM is a service that collects and processes information about the health of a system. Its goal is to ensure that everything is up and running at all times. If there is an issue, SAM will help you find the source of the problem. Genetec Update Service (GUS) GUS is a service that checks for new software and firmware versions for the different products deployed in your organization. It checks for updates at regular intervals and advises you when something is available. It automatically downloads updates in the background, which can then be pushed to the devices.
