As a potential violator crosses an intersection under a red light, the APLR camera captures their license plate. A video recording of the event is also captured by either the Sharp or any alternate video camera connected to Security Center. The ALPR and video data is fed to the Security Center server with the RLVD plugin. Users and officers can then use the Security Desk client to access the red light violation data on the Security Center server, to validate the event, select the appropriate evidence, and take the appropriate action. Live report review In the live report table, users can filter through the 100 most recent violations by LPR unit, selected status, and license plate. This list updates automatically. Detection report Similar to the live report feature, the detection report shows violations, depending on the selected relative or specific time range. False positive exemption Users can exempt confirmed false positives from their records of actual violations. Violation management Frontline users can pre-filter potential violations leaving sworn officers the task of final approval and export of evidence package, including image snapshots. Information modification System users can add and review information within the violation record, such as a corrected license plate number, infraction, fees, or remarks about the violation. Violation reviewing When reviewing potential violations, users and authorities can play, rewind, and forward through frames captured by video. Users can also select up to 8 snapshots to save from the video as evidence. Evidence exporting Users can create and export red light violation evidence packs to allow collaboration in citation processing between law enforcement agencies, and with third-party ticketing providers. • The minimum version for Security Center to run the plugin is 5.8. • The minimum sharp OS version is 12.7, as the input management is required for the red light integration.
