How it works
Multiple site access
Genetec ClearID is used across multiple
sites, where an individual can request
access anywhere in the world.
Traceability
Audit trails are available to track and store
temporary access request information.
Notification emails
Emails are sent to the approver upon a
new request, and to the requester once
approved.
Data storage
Encrypted employee data is stored in the
data center closest to their geographical
location.
Using the portal, employees can
choose their location by selecting the
site and the areas they need access to.
They will need to determine a
schedule and duration that meets
their access requirements.
For audit and tracking purposes, a
reason for the request is required.
Once the request is made, it is routed
to the correct approver(s) based
on approval settings and security
policies or is automatically approved.
