What is the power used to run your system?
Is your current system 12V or 24V? DC or AC? You'll need to evaluate
if it can provide enough current for the new hardware components.

How will you train your users on how to use the
new software?
To ensure a successful migration to an open, flexible IP-based system
you'll need to train your users on how to use the new software. Get
a head start by planning the type of training required for the various
users, based on their tasks and the client applications they will use.
6
What level of support will you get from the
integrators and manufacturers of the new system?
An access control migration requires the expertise of pre-sales
engineers, technical specialists, field services engineers, and
support engineers. It's important to consider the level of support
provided by the integrator installing the new technology, as
well as by the manufacturers and solutions providers whose
components will make up the new system.
