Security Center BRM augments an airport's
Synergis access control system by introducing
Gates as a native entity and part of the unified
platform. Gates can be formed by grouping
Synergis access control doors, with associated
Security Center Omnicast™ video surveillance
cameras, and/or any other available entities within
the Security Center platform.
Security Center BRM can also be configured to
automatically disable routes when conflicts are
detected. For example, if a door along a specific
route should be closed but remains open due to
an obstruction, the operator can be prevented
from launching that routing procedure. This
prevents the risk of diverting passengers into
incorrect areas of the airport or those meant
for a different set of travelers.
