Bus and rail services
The RATP makes it easy to get around Paris and avoid
traffic. You can buy single tickets, bundles of multiple
tickets, as well as monthly passes. A single fare costs
€1.90.
Bus to/from the airport to downtown
The RER is one of the fastest methods of transport to get to
and from the airport. RER lines cross metro stations so it's
easily accessible when used in conjunction with the metro.
The RER line B will take you directly to the airport.
Metro
From Monday to Friday, the metro operating hours are
from 5:30 to 00:30. Weekend operating hours are from
5:30 to 2:15. Depending on the metro line, holidays and
other factors, metro hours are subject to change, so make
sure to check the RATP website if you are unsure (https://
www.ratp.fr/en/horaires). The closest metro stations to the
office are: Ternes and Courcelles (both on Line 2)
Tip: taking the metro is the fastest form of transport
during rush hour.
A useful app
The Citymapper app and website is helpful, especially
when using public transportation in Paris, two figure
out which metro, RER, or bus to take to arrive at your
destination, and other details to make your commute as
easy as possible (https://citymapper.com/paris).
