Le Marais
One of the trendier areas of Paris, Le Marais is filled
with great shopping, restaurants, and cafes. It's an
especially nice area to visit on Sundays, as most
businesses are open.
Musée de l'Orangerie
Paris is home to over 100 museums, one of its
best known being the Musée de l'Orangerie. This
museum is recognized for its Monet collection,
but showcases pieces from Gaugin, Picasso, and
Matisse, among others.
Galeries Lafayette
The Galeries Lafayette is an upscale French
department store, carrying everything from clothing
to footwear to beauty products. It's one of the top
department stores in Paris, where you can shop,
browse, or eat at one of the many restaurants inside.
