Identifying wanted vehicles can be difficult,
with perpetrators trying to hide their license
plate while remaining inconspicuous. With
Plate Finder, all officers have the power to
take a picture of difficult-to-access license
plates and locate wanted vehicles whether
they are on a local, state, or federal hotlist,
like the NCIC.
Reduce manual data entry
Vehicles with rear-facing license plates
backed into parking spots can't be read with
vehicle-based ALPR systems. Instead of
having officers exit their vehicle and manually
take note of the plate number, they can simply
take a picture of the license plate using Plate
Finder and quickly validate parking rights.
