Customer stories City-wide surveillance and community cameras The Albuquerque PD (APD) opted for Clearance as its digital evidence solution while implementing Genetec Citigraf™ in its Real-Time Crime Center. Previously, the APD had evidence spread across siloed systems and databases, which made it difficult to lead investigations efficiently after incidents. It also hampered investigators' ability to review and share evidence with other stakeholders. With the new solutions, video is retrieved from disparate CCTV systems and partners like the Albuquerque airport and public school district, alongside events and other incident data. Clearance makes it easy for investigators and officers to access the evidence while maintaining the chain of custody with automated audit logs. Law enforcement agencies use Clearance as a core component of their digital evidence strategy. The application helps detectives quickly access and review evidence and spend more time on investigations rather than data management. Learn how agencies are integrating Clearance with other technology pillars of their public safety system. Using the Camera Registry module, they also streamlined evidence collection from cameras belonging to residents and businesses. Investigators can identify cameras, request videos, and review them without leaving the precinct. This results in significant time savings, which leads to faster closing of cases while the department strengthens ties with the community.
