Physical security takes flight: Deploying VSaaS for success

Cloud adoption in physical security is accelerating.  A 2024 Genetec survey revealed that for 44% of end-users, over a quarter of their physical security environments are cloud or hybrid. This compares with 24% in the previous year. As uptake increases, the question is no longer if you should embrace the cloud but what combination of cloud vs on-prem will best suit your business. Although organisations aren't tied to a linear adoption path, there are best practices for a successful deployment.
