Easily jump one camera to the next to track people through your facility With traditional video monitoring systems, an operator usually has to manually search for an adjacent camera when the suspect leaves the current camera's field-of-view. This is a timely and complicated task especially navigating through systems with hundreds or thousands of cameras. Our Visual Tracking feature enhances the user experience, allowing you to click on pre-configured graphical overlays to select the adjacent camera directly from the video tile. These overlays provide instant visual, avoiding long searches and increasing your efficiency during live monitoring or investigations. Key benefits Reduce loss and fraud that may occur at POS terminals Synchronize video and POS data to provide visual verification of each transaction Instantly search for transactions across a single or multiple stores Visual Tracking Key features and specifications Preconfigure Your System for Real-Time Tracking Through a Visual Tracking Designer, an administrator can add semi-transparent shapes (or overlays) onto a camera view, linking each shape to one or more cameras. In live monitoring mode, an operator clicking on the shape will automatically switch the video stream from the current camera to an adjacent camera all in real- time, all within the same display tile, and with the simple click of a mouse button. Visual Tracking can be easily turned on or off. When activated, semi-transparent shapes (or overlays) and text indicate the commands that are available; when deactivated, all overlays are invisible. Speed Up Investigations by Tailing Suspects in Playback With Visual Tracking, switching from the current camera to an adjacent camera is a simple click away, even in playback mode. When viewing recorded video, security operators can switch from one camera to the next as easily as during live monitoring. This helps operators find out what really happened, greatly speeding up investigations. Conduct Manual Guard Tours at Your Own Pace Instead of simply letting a guard tour run automatically, take your time using Visual Tracking. Manually switching from camera to the next within the same display tile lets you easily conduct a video guard tour from a security workstation at your own pace.
