Genetec announces SOC 3 compliance
Genetec has obtained the SOC 3 report, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), for its portfolio of cloud products and the ISMS (Information Security Management System) that governs them. The SOC 3 audit conducted by third parties covers five key areas: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
The SOC 3 audit covers the same standards and validates the same controls as the SOC 2 audit, but the former is available for immediate access by the public. The efforts deployed to obtain the SOC 3 report align with our goal of providing assurance about our controls and cybersecurity practice to prospective customers and partners.
