Community Connectâ„¢ is a program built for public-private partnerships to address safety issues such as crime and social disorder within communities. There are various options available in this program to encourage voluntary collaboration between all types of community stakeholders and policing authorities. This framework simplifies sharing resources and can help improve video management. Community Connect can be used to support improvement districts with high crime rates, or with budget constraints for additional cameras and other types of safety systems. It can also address challenges in managing video footage from private sources during a crisis. Using Community Connect, community stakeholders can voluntarily join a camera registry to easily share on-demand video or integrate third-party cameras. This solution can help build public trust, create safer and smarter spaces, and support law enforcement to protect their community more efficiently.
