Sneak peak at Security Center 5.1

Genetec is gearing up for the latest release of Security Center, version 5.1, due out in the coming weeks. We've added a wide variety of LPR, access control, and video functionalities and we're definitely jazzed about getting this one out the door and into the hands of our customers. As we're approaching the release date for 5.1, here's a sneak peak of what is coming. Believe me when I tell you that this is but a glimpse of all the innovations and enhancements that will make up our next release.

Task-based Config Tool

Revolutionary task approach in the Security Desk now brought over to the Config Tool. We have also brought over Security Desk tasks related to configuration and management into the Config Tool.

Health Monitoring

Includes real-time notifications, health statistics and health history reports. Our user interface's Tray now includes notifications for health events.

Global Cardholder Management

Allows our customers to synch cardholders, credentials, and badge templates between independent sites, each with their own directory.

New event-to-action wizard
